    I have just started my 2nd read of this, loved it the first time and love it even more so far. I have not tried audio yet but I am intrigued by it. I listened to the sample and actually loved it.

          Except Lothaire. I hate that motherfucker. I liked him in all the other books but not in his book. He was just really abusive and controlling and not in the sexy way. But the rest of them I’ve really enjoyed and I’m enjoying book 14 with Macrieve a LOT. For me it goes like this… the Lycae books are all awesome. The vampirea and demons are hit or miss. I’ve enjoyed ALL of them but Lothaire but enjoy the Lycae more than anything else she does in this series.

      YAY yes, I recently have returned to audiobooks and I am reading SO MUCH. (reading with my ears, bitches!) i might actually get 50 books read this year. Like I am behind but I will catch up at the rate I’m going. I’m on book 14 of the Immortals After Dark series.

    “Persephone” is one of my favorite books — I love Greek mythology, especially that particular myth. I haven’t listened to the audio book yet, but have it downloaded and ready to go! So, soon. (I’m waiting for a day when my partner isn’t home, so he won’t be all like “what the hell are you listening to?” 😂)

    I love the way Kitty’s heroines get to have happily ever after endings. So many times non-consensual novels have to have the hero come to a bad end. This isn’t the 1950’s and I am glad that at least one author gets it.

      ME TOO! Right now I’m devouring Immortals After Dark. Listen to me first (bwhahaha 😛 ) but then IAD!! I’m on book 14! I’m hoping to get in a groove of releasing a book about every month.

      Thank yoU! It will be a little while on Comfort Food. Readers REALLY love Greg and for CF I need a female narrator. So for right now I’m doing books with the third person POV. But Comfort Food is coming. Though I think, given CF being my bestselling and most compelling title for many it is smart to get a bunch of listeners totally new to me hooked on me through other books which will set up an opportunity for CF to break out in audio in a way it couldn’t do (due to a lot of circumstances, one of them being “getting there first” before readers could handle dark. CF opened up a lot of readers to the dark side but… because of all the hesitation and nervousness about it before Dark Romance was a genre it did slow me down in ways that authors inspired by CF were not slowed down. CF can “have that moment” in audio, if I smartly build my audio audience and consistent releases first.)

    Grabbed my ebook copy so I can read it. I don’t have many audio books because I don’t usually get a chance to listen to books. I’m a caregiver so I have to always be listening to others calling me…hard to do with earphones in listening to a great book.

      Well with me, I ran auditions and I picked the narrator and I approved the whole project so it wasn’t a case of some outside third party publisher taking the control of my own project away from me.     This will probably be my best audiobook listen for 2019! I just love, love, love the retelling of Hades amd Persephone’s story in this and Gregory Salinas nailed his role as a narrator for multiple characters!
