      Hey Alex, you’re welcome! In some ways it has and in some it hasn’t. Like this book took 15 months which is the LONGEST ever for me. But I wasn’t writing most of that time and there were personal things in my life in the background that prevented me from writing. But the writing ITSELF is flowing a lot more smoothly and I’m a lot less insecure about it because I understand it doesn’t matter what I write some are going to love it and some are going to hate it. But I do think my readers are going to LOVE this one.

      Also, for a VERY long time it was a struggle knowing I could never “top” Comfort Food. Over time I’ve come to realize that a PART of the CF thing was just that it was the first thing like that anybody had read. It’s like how you never forget your first kiss.

    Hi Kitty, do you go back and forth with your cover artist a lot in trying to get the image just right to your liking? Even to the extent of having the images be pretty close representations of how the characters look in your mind’s eye? Or is it pretty much just left to the artist’s own discretion? Does she have to read the book carefully before creating the image? All the covers have had this special quality that made the books look tasteful, appealing, intriguing and a whole lot of other good qualities!

    I did win a signed copy of Comfort Food – that was the first time I’d ever won any competition in my life, and I have you to thank for it!

      No my artist and I agree on the basic images used and then she comes up with something. I almost always go with the first thing she designs.
